For this royalty free track I was foolin’ around with a beautiful Armenian Duduk sound and the main motif started to spill out. I had purchases some lovely “war drum” loops a while back and as I started to add them in this piece just started coming together.

I thought the title East of Ephesus had a lovely alliteration as well as describing well the sounds that make up the piece. (Ephesus was an ancient Greek city port which is now in modern day Turkey)
