This piece came out of a desire to write something in the style of spaghetti western standoff piece with that epic chorale and orchestal sound.

I jotted down the guitar part one evening on my little Gretsch Jim Dandy guitar and felt I had something to build on. I took to the studio and recorded the tremelo guitar motif on my knock-off telecaster and the song just started to come together.

I started to piece together the arrangement introducing orchestral and chorale elements as well as that authenticate Ennio Moriconno “whistle” which has become synonymous with spaghetti western music.
